Services
Personalised psychology and health intervention
Personalised psychological therapy for individuals, families, and professionals.
We offer personalised psychological therapy for individuals and families, addressing mental-health and emotional-wellbeing challenges. Our approach integrates clinical methods including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) — both part of the third-wave therapies — providing individual support for adults and young people alike.
As John C. Norcross, Ph.D., puts it: "Therapy is not only a way to cope with mental-health disorders, but also a valuable tool for personal growth and emotional resilience" (Norcross, 2018).
Specialisms
-
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
One of the most effective interventions for emotional and behavioural disorders. It rests on identifying and modifying dysfunctional thought patterns and behaviours, and is particularly effective for anxiety, depression, and OCD.
Reference: Aaron T. Beck — father of CBT.
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
A third-wave therapy that promotes psychological flexibility — helping people accept thoughts and emotions instead of fighting them. It focuses on clarifying personal values and committing to actions aligned with those values.
Reference: Steven C. Hayes (Hayes, 2004).
-
Wellness and Lifestyle Coaching
A methodology that helps improve quality of life through sustainable changes in health, wellbeing, and lifestyle habits. It addresses physical, emotional, and mental aspects to achieve integrated balance.
Reference: Brendon Burchard — high performance and wellbeing.
All three specialisms are offered in both individual and group therapy. Kizuna Psicología does not provide clinical diagnosis at this time.
